The FRESH Program

Get an insider's view of a career field by shadowing Cornell alumni in their workplaces during spring break. Informational interviews and one- to two-day externships are available in various career fields and geographic locations. Find out what it's like to be a surgeon, bank vice-president, environmental lawyer, museum curator, science teacher, and more. Observe the day-to-day activities of your Cornell sponsor, discuss specific jobs and careers with alumni and their colleagues through informational interviews, and perhaps obtain limited hands-on experience.

We will try to give you the outline for requirements and application procedures, but plan to attend the required information meeting and track your email carefully for updates and changes to the procedures. The meeting dates and application deadline will remain, but there may be announcements of new sponsors, changes to procedures, or additional open sign-ups, if necessary. Email updates will be sent to students registered with FRESH.
