Health Careers Evaluation Committee (HCEC)

The HCEC serves Cornellians who apply to the health professional schools that request a university letter of evaluation. The letter of evaluation is not a letter of recommendation. It is a comprehensive, written review of the student’s candidacy for the health career of his or her choice. The HCEC prepares and distributes the letter of evaluation along with the applicant’s recommendation letters.

Registration is an annual service. You must renew your registration if you use the HCEC to apply to a health career school in a year subsequent to your original registration year.
