Internships and Summer Jobs

Cornell Career Services offers job postings in our system for internships and summer positions at no charge. Our job-posting service is known as Cornell Handshake. You can access system through the Cornell Handshake Employer Login to the right.

Gaining access to post jobs on Cornell Handshake—the Cornell-specific portion of the system—is a two-part process: first, you create an account/request access to the system; then, you will be able to post jobs at Cornell. If you have questions, please contact the Employer Services Operations Lead 607/255-6934.

If you are not familiar with job postings using the system, you may want to review our brief tutorial (coming soon) before you post your first job.

Funding Available for Non-profits and Small For-Profit Employers

Non-profit or small for-profit organizations seeking undergraduates for summer positions may qualify for partial wage reimbursement through Cornell's Develop Your Own Internship Program (DYO). Review the DYO information for employers for details. Email with questions.

Local Employers

Local employers interested in hiring current students over the summer or as interns during the academic year might want to post their position(s) with the Office of Student Employment.
