Submitting Job Descriptions
Job descriptions should be entered in Cornell Handshake at least eight weeks prior to your interview date so students are aware that you will be visiting campus to recruit for one or more positions, as well as to provide maximum visibility for your organization.
Before jobs are activated for view by students, recruiting coordinators will set employer and student deadlines (refer to Scheduling Interviews) for resume submission, pre-selection, and candidate sign-ups. To request changes in deadlines, contact the recruiting coordinator.
Students will be able to view your opportunities soon after you confirm or update details of your recruiting activity but they will not be allowed to apply for positions until early August for fall interviews and mid-October for spring interviews.
