APPLICATION MATERIALS DUE TO FELLOWSHIP COORDINATOR NOVEMBER 20

The Fellowship Coordinator will forward your application materials to the Cornell Endorsement Committee. Make sure that you read the fine print on the application forms and that you have filled in all the blanks as you would for the final submission. Materials should be in polished form, collated and paper-clipped (not stapled) for easy distribution to committee members. All materials must arrive to 103 Barnes Hall by 2:00 pm on November 20, 2009.

Submit to the Fellowship Coordinator:

  • Nominee Information Form
  • Public Policy Analysis
  • Official transcript(s) from each institution attended

You must provide official transcripts. The Fellowship Coordinator may not request transcripts on your behalf.

  • Three letters of recommendation

Letters should be accompanied by the form provided in the application. Each of the three recommendations serves a distinct purpose. One should discuss your commitment to a career in public service; one should discuss your leadership abilities and potential; one should discuss your intellect and prospects for continuing academic success. The Fellowship Coordinator can provide advice on choosing recommenders.

Four applicants may be endorsed by the on-campus committee. The campus committee may offer the four nominees advice on how to improve their materials for final submission. Nominees submit the final version of their applications by January 28, 2010.
