Gates Cambridge Scholarship

The Gates Cambridge Scholarship supports one to four years of post-baccalaureate study in any field at the University of Cambridge. Students must first apply directly for admission to Cambridge and make a separate application for the scholarship. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, potential for scholarly development, and a commitment to use the benefits of their education for the common good. Citizens from any country other than the UK are eligible.

Application Deadline for U.S. citizens: October 15, 2009

Application Deadline for non-U.S. citizens:  December 15, 2009*

*Non U.S. citizens should check the 2009-10 Graduate Studies Prospectus to see if the course to which they are applying has a deadline before December 15.  In such cases applicants will need to apply by the earlier course deadline.
