Cornell CareerNet Tutorials

Cornell CareerNet is a web-based system of Cornell student, employer, and alumni information used for communicating with students, posting jobs and internships, managing recruiting activity, and sharing alumni mentor information. Several tutorials are available to help you learn to use the system effectively.

Basic Tutorials

Cornell CareerNet Step-by-Step: Creating Your Student Profile provides a brief overview to help you get started using Cornell CareerNet by creating your profile.

The comprehensive On-Campus Recruiting Tutorial gives a thorough introduction to the On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) feature of the Cornell CareerNet system, and should take about 35 minutes to complete. Completion of the tutorial or attendance at an orientation to on-campus recruiting workshop is required for eligibility to particpate in OCR.

Refresher Tutorials

As you use the on-campus recruiting system, you may find that you need to refresh your memory on certain aspects of it. We will divide the required On-Campus Recruiting Tutorial into short review "chapters," each covering a specific topic. These topical tutorials do not include any quiz questions, and are easily navigable (coming soon).

Cornell CareerNet Troubleshooting

If you run into any difficulties navigating the CCNet On-Campus Recruiting system, refer to the Cornell CareerNet Troubleshooting chart (coming soon).
