Human Medicine

A large number of Cornell undergraduates are making plans to attend medical school at some point after graduation. In recent years, 13%-17% of those students continuing their education directly after graduation have selected some area of human medicine for their studies.

Cornell provides a wide range of services: advising, programs, and resources to help students who are pursuing human health care achieve their career goals. Cornell also provides letters of evaluation to students applying to medical schools.

Course Requirements

For admission to medical/dental school, students must complete certain courses. The Cornell courses that meet these requirements are outlined in the Human Health Professionals Guide for First- and Second-Year Pre-Med Students.
