Connecting With Alumni

Networking is the single most effective method of gathering career-related information, developing contacts within a community or an industry, and uncovering the "hidden job market." And Cornell alumni can play an important role in helping you develop your network.

Cornell Career Services helps you make connections with alumni in a variety of ways. Throughout the year we sponsor alumni panels and other meetings. Job-shadowing programs, such as FRESH, the Extern Program, and ILR's WISP and FEX programs, offer a great way to establish a one-on-one relationship with a grad and to learn more about a career choice.

Cornell's Alumni Mentor network, accessible through CCNet, consists of alumni, parents, and other friends of Cornell who are interested in offering you career advice and insight from personal experience.
