Cornell University


The main career library in 103 Barnes Hall serves all Cornell students. It consists of 550 books and 582 websites; information on law schools, medical schools, and other graduate programs; and test prep materials. There is a media room for accessing the web and printing information. Hours are 8:00 am—4:30 pm, Monday—Friday, year-round. Numerous additional online resources can be found in the Link Library.

The Arts & Sciences, Barnes, College of Agriculture and Life Science, Engineering, and Human Ecology career library databases can be accessed through the top link below.

With close to 5 million journal article downloads per year and 91 percent of the 120,000 current serial titles available online, the Library's digital collection continues to grow at a rapid pace.

    LinkedIn is a valuable tool for networking with Cornell alumni and others, exploring careers, and searching for jobs and internships. Review resources available about networking, building a profile, using an alumni tool, and other topics. Also informative is a LinkedIn blog; for example, in the blog are results of a data- mining project that show common career transitions, starting from a particular job title.
